From speaking to showcases, April has been a mega month of events, demos and travel. Dr Gawley really has been kept on her (deadly)toes, heading up Women Techmakers Belfast as keynote speaker, talking at BelTech and Product Camp and being a speaker and panelist at the Future Tech Now VR Conference in London. Phew! The lesser-spotted Carley even made a stage appearance at this year’s BelTech for a virtual reality panel.

It’s been all systems go and we’ve managed to get airport security down to a fine art – even with the entourage of tech that escorts us on the road!

Let’s see what Twitter has to say about it all…

During the first week in April, travels took us from London’s VR Conference “Digital Hospital” to Europe and up the east coast of Italy, demoing Magic Moovr to clinicians in Chieti, Ancona and Milan, followed by the Belfast Trust. We gained press coverage in The Mirror, featured in Matrix NI’s Creative Technology Report and were selected to showcase at Nesta’s “Future of People Powered Health” event. Somehow, in the middle of it all Gawley even managed to find herself as a face of the #PeaceDividend Good Friday Agreement 20th anniversary celebrations!

So what’s next?

This month, find us at Smart Health on 17th May where @deadlytoes is talking VR with #ReadyPatientOne (12:00)  and @cmooki discusses the future of health apps (14:30). Next month Magic Moovr has been selected by InnovateUK to showcase at the International Business Festival in Liverpool as part of the UK Innovation Hub in June.
